Mirror Owners,

AlmaLinux 8.9 is slated to release tomorrow, November 21, 2023. The
updates will begin syncing out to mirrors momentarily.

There are quite a few mirrors in the "expired" status in the mirrorlist at
https://mirrors.almalinux.org which means syncs are either broken, or not
running frequently enough.  This is a good time to check if your mirror is
in that list and correct any issues to be ready for the 8.9 release.
