Yesterday, I participated in a meetup with Claus Wiesner from the Azure Linux team at Microsoft! We busted the myths around using Linux on Azure, and showed how CentOS 6 and 7 users on Azure can upgrade to AlmaLinux using ELevate. Read more and watch it on demand here!
We recently announced the AlmaLinux Engineering Steering Committee, or ALESCo. Simply stated, ALESCo is a group of engineers heavily involved in using and developing AlmaLinux, formed into a committee that will generally guide the technical progression and growth of AlmaLinux as an operating system. We need your help! We’re looking for volunteers from the AlmaLinux community to help staff our booths. If you can dedicate at least 1/2 of an event to staffing a booth, fill out this Google form! We’ll cover your travel and hotel, and you’ll get a per-diem to help offset your food and assorted travel-related costs.
