in /var/log/httpd/error_log 

it is saying Read-only file system.

This is not the case 

the actual file system is fine. I  can "echo 1 > file" just fine.  Newly built VM.

my CGI seems to be running just fine - as long as I echo to stdout - 

but when I try to write to a file - I get the above error.

What is different on Alma 10 - that to httpd its read-only 

selinux is turned off.

I copied my configs over from Alma 9 which work . and rebooted
