I didn't realize it ended on
01-31-2022, and in the update of my local mirror I already deleted
it, should I point to vault, to be able to update centos 7.9 to 8
and then switch to almalinux?

What errors are you seeing?
There are all offline for me. If you read the readme
inside them, they tell you
deprecated and the content is gone. Just when you
thought you might have one
more day!
What I had to do.... I had to hard switch away from
using mirrorlist to using
the explicit vault.centos.org/8.5.2111.
Then I was able to update to 8.5 and
use almalinux-deploy.sh.
Glad you found a solution. As far as I know they're
supposed to stay online through Jan 31 but some mirror
owners have probably started shutting theirs down.
I haven't thought too much about dead repos impacting
upgrades to Alma but Andrew (added to this chain)
probably has. Regardless we need to make sure we have a
solution to continue allowing at least 8.4 and 8.5
upgrades to continue working, and probably 8.3 too.
I'll try to do some testing of my own and see how all
things fail with dead Cent repos.
