Heads up: AlmaLinux 9 kernel erratas are back
Hello community, as some of you have already noticed (and some of you reported), we haven't been publishing erratas for AlmaLinux 9 kernel updates for some time. This DOES NOT mean that we have not released the fixes, every CVE has been fixed as soon as the fixes have been available. However, as a consequence of a combination of some problems, we haven't been able to publish the corresponding errata information as we usually do with the rest of the packages. This is, the OVAL data [1] and the errata pages at the AlmaLinux Errata website [2]. This email is to let you know that, after having solved the problems around, most of those un-published kernel erratas will be published within the next few days. If you see a bunch of emails coming from our announce list or our RSS feed at the same time, don't panic, most of those erratas are already fixed kernel security issues. If you're using the latest kernel, you are definitely safe. If not, it is maybe the time for you to jump into a more recent and more secure kernel. As always, if you need any clarification about our security updates, don't hesitate to reach out to us, via our security mailing list [3] or our Security channel in mattermost [4]. Stay safe!
