From 1 to 400 mirrors; The AlmaLinux Mirror System Story In August of 2021 we first launched our new and improved mirror system, including the geo-location feature that allows users to automatically use the closest mirror to them. Since we launched, we’ve grown from around 100 mirror servers to over 400. We’ve also made a lot of improvements to the mirrorlist which supports over 1 million systems worldwide. ELevate gets a huge update - now supports CentOS Stream 8 - 9, Scientific Linux upgrades, and hardware detection ELevate https://almalinux.org/elevate/ just received the biggest update since 2021 when the project was first announced! ELevateNG has been promoted to stable, and we received tons of community-contributed feedback.
