Have you installed XFCE with:

dnf groupinstall Xfce

or

dnf install xfce4-*

I used dnf groupinstall "Xfce" "base-x" Xfce4 and dependent packages were all successfully installed, but I can't set xfce as the desktop envirnment to use. -- -John (JohnDThompson@gmail.com) Appleton, WI USA
