Re: AlmaLinux 9.7, what is used instead of inxi?
It hasn't been built for EPEL10 yet but there is an open request for it: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2384310 fastfetch is nice. I maintain it in Fedora/EPEL :) On Wed, Dec 17, 2025 at 12:29 PM Christopher Cox via AlmaLinux Users < users@lists.almalinux.org> wrote:

Hi, looks like you want "dnf search":
[jld@alma9] $ cat /etc/almalinux-release ; dnf search inxi AlmaLinux release 9.6 (Sage Margay) Last metadata expiration check: 0:00:56 ago on Wed Dec 17 10:01:57 2025. ====Name Exactly Matched: inxi ===== inxi.noarch : A full featured system information script
On 10.x, dnf search inxi No matches found.
There's always old school lshw, but maybe I'd go fastfetch for something more inxi-ish. I know both are different from inxi, but maybe??
