dnf update Alma 8 KO about GPG Keys

Hello, I have migrate my centOS 7 to centOS 8 and after to Almalinux 8, It's OK but now I want to make UPDATE to patch my VM and I have always this error I have already make that rpm --import https://repo.almalinux.org/almalinux/RPM-GPG-KEY-AlmaLinux and after when for example I made this update, dnf update httpd -y Importing GPG key 0xC21AD6EA: Userid : "AlmaLinux <packager(a)almalinux.org>" Fingerprint: E53C F5EF 91CE B0AD 1812 ECB8 51D6 647E C21A D6EA From : /etc/pki/rpm-gpg/RPM-GPG-KEY-AlmaLinux Key imported successfully ... AlmaLinux and BTRFS

Hi list, there are chances to have BTRFS on AlmaLinux? It is on "things to do" or I will never see it on Alma? There are plans and timing for this? Would be great have BTRFS on AlmaLinux without rely on third party repo like for ZFS. Thank you in advance. Alessandro.

AlmaLinux 9.3 and SATA controller

Hi, I need to buy a SATA3 PCI-E 3.0 2x controller with 4 or 6 port. It will be installed on my workstation. I need to use AlmaLinux or at least Fedora. Actually I found this: https://www.silverstonetek.com/it/product/info/expansion-cards/ECS06/ but I can't determine if it is supported by the kernel. The chipset is ASMedia ASM1166 (AHCI). I can't find good results on google search. How I can check if the controller is supported? If not what controller do you suggest? Thank you in advance. Alessandro.

Disabling automatic updates

Hi, I have several Alma Linux 8 and Alma Linux 9 boxes. Some of them (strangely not all) are running automatic updates: - some boxes at boot time - other with a pop-up in a user session (requesting also to reboot). These session are using Gnome or KDE I've done some investigation with google, disabling automatic download for dnf, but automatic updates still occur and I do not found where I can disable this. That looks strange for me is that deployment is kickstarted based with similar kickstart file with the same initial rpm base (then I update all the rpms with dnf) This behaviour is not correct in a professional environment as we must have stable libraries versions and run updates intentionally. Hello, Does anyone know if a project either exists or is under consideration for building AlmaLinux 9 cloud images? I work in an OpenStack environment and I'd like to use diskimage-builder <https://docs.openstack.org/diskimage-builder/latest/> to deploy AlmaLinux 9 images. Thanks, Jack

Notification for insert of optical disk

Hi there, we did make an upgrade of our headless appliance (a DVD read-roboter) from CentOs 6.9 to AlmaLinux 8.8. CentOS 6.9 did fire a UDEV-notification every time the DVD-Tray did something (insert cd, read CD, eject,...) and we could react on that. AlmaLinux 8.8 now uses systemd, therefore the UDEV-notifications only happen, if the filesystem of the media is correctly identified - which does not happen if for example the media is scratched and therefore not readable. Now there is a CD inside the tray - and we do have no clue. If we use a vanilla AlmaLinux 8.8 with KDE and insert a scratched CD - after some time the CD gets ejected - and we have not found out, which service does this. Is there a possibility to get notified, when a CD is inserted - regardless of the readability.
