Hi all! The 2023 election has concluded, and we are happy to announce that both 吉田淳 (Jun Yoshida) and Alejandro (Alex) Iribarren have been elected to the board of directors. We have a brief introduction from both available on our blog <https://almalinux.org/blog/2023-12-19-jun-and-alex-join-board/>. We also posted a 2023 recap blog post last week <https://almalinux.org/blog/2023-12-14-2023-highlights/>, with a discussion of all our accomplishments this year, including links to various talks that have been given about AlmaLinux throughout the year. Thanks for everything that you've done this year to expand the reach of AlmaLinux to all the people who need it. We only exist because there is a need, and we're very happy to be able to fill that need! Thanks, benny Vasquez Chair, Board of Directors @AlmaLinux OS Foundation *I am sending this message now because it suits me, but I don’t expect that you will read, respond to, or act on it outside of comfortable hours for your time zone.*
